主讲嘉宾简介

Dr. Yue XU is an associate professor and PhD supervisor in I/O Psychology from Strategic Management and Organizations (SMO), International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She also holds the leadership role as Director of Behavioral Decision Making in Business Center of Excellence at IBSS. In addition, Dr. Xu is the principal investigator of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth project. Her research interests include but not limited to employee proactive behavior, leadership, behavioral decision-making, human-AI interaction. She has produced almost 30 high quality research publications in influential journals, such as Human Resource Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, British Journal of Management, etc.

This seminar aims to provide actionable insights into academic exploration, covering research design, journal selection, and revision strategies for early-career researchers and graduate students. Participants will learn to identify impactful research topics aligned with journal trends, structure manuscripts to avoid desk rejections, and craft persuasive submissions. The speaker will share proven tactics for navigating peer review, including prioritizing revisions, negotiating feedback, and transforming critiques into opportunities, illustrated by real-world examples from their R&R experiences.
